Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of various industries and companies, including their financials, operations, and market trends.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of companies under coverage, including financial modeling, valuation, and competitive positioning.
  • Provide written research reports and recommendations to clients, highlighting potential investment opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with senior management and portfolio companies to understand their strategies and capital allocation decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of investment themes and ideas, and participate in the creation of broad thematic articles.
  • Support the investment team in the preparation of attribution calculations and performance reports.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in buy-side and/or sell-side research, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality research and recommendations.
  • CFA certification preferred.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills, with a deep understanding of cash flow, income statement, and balance sheet analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data and deliver actionable conclusions in a timely manner.
  • Experience with growth and value styles across a small and large cap domestic universe.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with FactSet and/or Bloomberg.
