Job Summary

As a Technical Lead at IBM Consulting, you will be responsible for leading the technical approach and implementation of new and existing applications within your workstream. You will work closely with agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions to clients. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teams in research, design, development, testing, and deployment of software products based on client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for all new and changed code.
  • Collaborate with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
  • Perform feasibility analysis on potential future application projects to inform leadership decisions.

Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience working in an agile development environment, preferably SAFe or Scrum.
  • Proficient in working with several programming languages and frameworks, including Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, Ruby, Rails, ReactJS, Swift, Python/Anaconda, and Scala.
  • Experience working on software development teams supporting the federal government.
