Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team as a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with communication disorders and speech-related difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop individualized speech therapy plans to address their goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and carryover of therapy goals.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • IEP Development: Conduct assessments, evaluations, and provide recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support students' academic and social success.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, contribute to the development of intervention strategies, and provide support to fellow team members to ensure a cohesive and effective team approach.

Requirements:

  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology, and California state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of current therapy techniques, assessments, and intervention strategies, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
