Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. as a travel nurse in Washington, District of Columbia.

Job Summary

This is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy and be willing to adapt to new environments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting
  • Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and other diagnostic procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Requirements
  • Current RRT certification
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new environments
