Salary ranges are determined based on levels of relevant experience, education, and certifications.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

A college degree is strongly preferred or equivalent experience in customer service, conflict resolution, and employee supervision. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables.

Must possess any licenses or certificates required by the state (e.g., including but not limited to CPR).

Must be proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

Ability to read numbers on screening equipment (i.e., scales, thermometers, graphs, digital vital signs monitor, refractometer). Ability to write and record words and numbers legibly and accurately.

Ability to operate computer software including DMS (with training) and Microsoft Office.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Ability to tug, lift, and pull up to fifty (50) pounds.

Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and climb stairs or ladders.

Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

The employee must be able to enter a walk-in freezer at temperatures of -30 C and colder for short durations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversees Operational Compliance

Ensures that all center activities comply with KEDPLASMA DCOP's (Donor Center Operating Procedures) and other company standards and protocols to meet regulatory requirements.

Directs details in special donor programs with assistance from the Donor Center Manager.

Supervises donor center employees to maintain quality assurance procedures.

Trains employees to uphold daily center operations.

Ensures that professional customer service skills, courtesy, and respect are practiced by center staff to maximize donor retention.

Identifies potential, serious, or chronic issues affecting quality or compliance.

2. Manages Daily Center Operations

Performs opening and closing duties (e.g., powering on/off equipment, documenting petty funds and donor fund disbursement, securing funds and files, maintaining alarm systems).

Manages the reception area to ensure a steady flow of production and proper documentation.

Ensures that the reception area, plasma room, and donor floor are well-stocked for current and upcoming production.

Maintains reporting documents (e.g., Donor Fees Reporting, Softgoods Inventory, Haemonetics Reports, Payroll, Production reporting).

Ensures timely completion of donor center logs and records.

Responds promptly to alarms and maintains the alarm system.

3. Fiscal/Administrative Duties

Collaborates with the Center Manager to hire, train, and coordinate donor center staff to ensure a competent and compliant team.

Prepares the team for volume increases, staff shortages, and absenteeism.

Maintains up-to-date personnel records (e.g., employee evaluations, training documentation, attendance).

Ensures appropriate medical staff coverage for the donor center.

Maintains center operations with fiscal responsibility in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Assurance Programs (QAP).

Oversees test results and completes unit disposition and paperwork follow-through.
