Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain durable medical equipment, including oxygen concentrators, liquid oxygen systems, hospital beds, wheelchairs, suction machines, apnea monitors, home transfill systems, and CPAPs.
  • Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are done in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and in a timely manner.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance on an Equipment Repair Order and submit it in a timely manner.
  • Monitor parts stock levels and assist in the reorder process.
  • Recommend adjustments to equipment that is too expensive to repair to the Repair Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Good verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and climb ladders if needed.
