About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at The Ladders. The Finance Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing various financial processes and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external finance teams to prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports for all business units through detailed reconciliations.
  • Enhance and refine financial systems, processes, and policies to improve efficiency.
  • Generate and manage client invoices, including payroll and expense reimbursements, while monitoring management fees.
  • Track Accounts Receivable and engage with clients to accelerate cash flow.
  • Ensure precise processing of invoices in Accounts Payable and assist in various stages of the financial workflow.
  • Build strong partnerships with cross-departmental teams to promote information sharing and support organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain and track Annual Reports with relevant state agencies.
  • Develop and sustain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to negotiate favorable terms.
  • Supervise the staff accountant, fostering a supportive environment and promoting their professional development.
  • Collaborate with the corporate finance group to uphold financial reporting standards and ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
  • Engage with departmental managers to enhance their understanding and accountability regarding financial data.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a public accounting environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong communication and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliation processes.
Work Environment

This role provides a hybrid work setting, with a requirement of in-office attendance for a few days each week. Our workspace is designed to foster collaboration and inclusivity.
