You strive to create a sanctuary for personal healing, growth, and self-discovery. Your goal is to enlighten clients about the profound restorative effects of exceptional massage therapy. You seek an employer who values your contributions as much as you value the well-being of your clients. As a Massage Practitioner, you play a crucial role in the wellness industry.
If this resonates with you, you might be an ideal candidate for a company that prioritizes showcasing its culture rather than merely describing it.
At our Hand and Stone establishment, you can concentrate on your passion (transforming lives through therapeutic touch) while we ensure your needs are met. Our success is built on the talent of our skilled Massage Practitioners.
Whether a client visits for relief from discomfort or simply to unwind, we aim for everyone to depart our Spa feeling rejuvenated and revitalized.
Benefits of Employment:
- Flexible Work Hours - we welcome both recent graduates and experienced practitioners in the field.
- Professional Growth - we provide ongoing educational opportunities (at no cost) for our team members. You will earn 12 CEU credits upon completing our orientation training.
- Safe and Professional Environment - ensuring your safety and satisfaction in the workplace is our top priority.
- All Necessary Supplies Provided - your positive demeanor combined with our facilities and resources creates a winning combination.
- Employee Discounts - enjoy great savings on exceptional products, services, and gift cards.
- Referral Incentives - earn rewards for sharing your positive experiences at Hand and Stone with fellow practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on the unique needs of each client.
- Provide an outstanding experience for members and guests through a welcoming and supportive attitude.
- Attract new clients by promoting member referrals and membership options.
- Maintain professionalism and cleanliness in therapy rooms and shared spaces.
Qualifications:
- Comply with state licensing laws and regulations.
- Maintain massage liability insurance.
- Communicate effectively with clients, management, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in Swedish Massage is required.
- Familiarity with additional modalities (such as Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Deep Tissue) is preferred but not mandatory. Hand and Stone offers training in all modalities to our team members.
- Understand and advocate for the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
