This position is for an Industrial Maintenance Specialist on

3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

at our Chicago Sheet plant.

Compensation: Starting pay at $40.62, commensurate with skills and experience.

Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401K plan.

1.5x pay for hours exceeding 8, over 40 hours, and weekends.

1.5x pay on holidays, plus additional overtime for hours exceeding 8 on holidays.

Uniforms provided.

Up to 100 paid training hours annually for technicians to progress through skill levels.

Stipend for safety footwear, eyewear, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a range of maintenance activities to identify, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on all plant equipment and facilities.

Utilize maintenance expertise to enhance productivity, minimize downtime, and reduce waste.

Respond promptly to machine downtime incidents with a sense of urgency.

Complete in-house training programs to develop equipment-specific maintenance skills, with potential attendance at external training requiring occasional overnight travel.

Adhere to all safety and company policies, including lock-out tag-out procedures.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Proficient in maintaining and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
  • Committed to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Possession of basic tools (specialized tools and an annual tool allowance provided by PCA).
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery, particularly in the corrugated or packaging sector.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
