Work Schedule

Our stores operate from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We offer flexible full-time and part-time schedules, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Responsibilities

As a General Service Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting teamwork to deliver exceptional guest care during all operating hours
  • Demonstrating excellent guest service, including clear communication and feedback about guest vehicles
  • Maintaining a clean and presentable service center
  • Providing guidance and mentoring to junior and mid-level automotive technicians
  • Inspecting and communicating oil levels to other teammates
  • Ensuring tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Inspecting and refilling fluid levels as necessary
  • Completing vehicle inspections
  • Installing new oil drain plugs and oil filters
  • Cleaning and lubricating fittings as needed
  • Documenting all work performed on the repair order
  • Reporting any safety issues immediately to management
  • Maintaining strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation
  • Performing various manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

Qualifications

To be successful as a General Service Technician, you'll need:

  • Previous experience is preferred but not required
  • The ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions
  • Effective communication skills to interact with guests and teammates
  • The ability to stand for extended periods on hard surfaces
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes
  • The ability to lift and move work-related items up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
