About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Global Technology Services team at State Street Corporation. As a key member of our Quality Assurance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test strategies and plans to ensure the quality of software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve upstream and downstream impacts.
  • Execute test cases using automated tools and develop specific tests for each application.
  • Participate in metrics gathering and propose ongoing improvements to the software testing process.
  • Ensure proper procedures and controls are in place throughout the software testing process.
Requirements
  • Experience with Capital Markets/Fund Accounting business and/or testing.
  • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to changing environments/requirements.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as with a team.
  • Accountable for quality, accuracy, and timeliness of results.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work within a global team and communicate with individuals based in different locations.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with all partners in the SDLC such as business and development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree is a plus.
  • 2-3 years background in software quality assurance/business analysis.
  • Minimum 1-2 years work exposure in financial services or financial technology.
  • Demonstrated experience with application testing; knowledge of DB Querying tools.
  • Excellent understanding of software engineering standards.
  • Experience with process automation using tools like Selenium, Python, or UFT.
  • Exposure to Sprint and Test tracking tools - JIRA, RTC, or ALM.
