Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, triaging patients, and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and assess patients of all ages presenting for emergency care
  • Provide timely and compassionate care for patients with emergency and life-threatening conditions
  • Document pertinent nursing notes to reflect changes in patient condition, transfers, and discharges
  • Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed
  • Coordinate and triage incoming ambulance traffic
  • Manage care with primary ED attending
  • Learn, understand, and use the Emergency Severity Index 5-level triage algorithm
  • Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
