About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cosmetologist to join our team at the Essex Resort & Spa. As a Cosmetologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair cutting, styling, and chemical treatments to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hair cutting, styling, and chemical treatments (colors and perms) on guests.
  • Consult with guests to ensure their expectations are met for a pleasurable visit.
  • Ability to perform various coloring and treatment procedures and scalp treatments as requested by guests.
  • Cross-trained to perform all services within a unisex salon operation, including nail care, hand/foot treatments, make-up applications, facial/skin care, and waxing.
  • Prepare hair care equipment, treatment areas, and supplies daily, and complete all tasks necessary for opening and closing shifts.
  • On-time attendance is necessary, and uninterrupted work is expected.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Licensed by West Virginia State Board of Cosmetology.
  • One year previous experience.
  • CPR certification preferred.
