Position Overview

NSB Omega is seeking a qualified Construction Superintendent with expertise in Offshore Structures. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing construction activities in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct daily operations of construction initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, compliance standards, and quality assurance measures
  • Support the preparation and evaluation of submittals, RFIs, and RFCs, providing insights on their appropriateness
  • Assess contractor health and safety strategies, as well as traffic and erosion control plans
  • Validate quantities for invoicing
  • Identify and address non-conformance issues in construction work, proposing viable solutions
  • Act as the primary Company representative at locations where the Construction Site Manager is not present
  • Deliver construction expertise when required
  • Foster effective communication and relationships with contractors
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Offshore Structures
  • Background in field construction planning, execution, and project completion
  • Prior experience as a Construction Superintendent on significant capital projects
  • Knowledge of Construction Materials Testing protocols and ASTM standards
  • Motivated self-starter dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients
