Project Superintendent

As a Project Superintendent at Kiewit, you will play a critical role in the success of our construction projects. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our field operations and ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Provide supervisory direction to craft workers and ensure that they are working safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with field engineering and craft to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents, subcontractors, and Kiewit staff personnel to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, and inform project and corporate management as appropriate.
• Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure that project rules, procedures, and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards.

• 10+ years' work experience in the construction industry, with at least 5+ years in a supervisory role.
• Previous knowledge/experience in Insulation/Coatings setting required.
• Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements, and jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings, and other documents.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt.
