About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Model 1 Inc. - Chino. As a critical member of our team, you will work alongside other professionals to diagnose, test, and repair vehicles using computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles in a fast-paced environment
  • Work with computerized diagnostics equipment and service manuals
  • Collaborate with other professionals to achieve team goals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

  • Recent verifiable experience in light or medium duty automotive service facility
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Automobile, Medium/Heavy Truck, School Bus, and Transit Bus
  • Appropriate hand tools. Tool Program available
  • Valid Driver's License for vehicle classes working on. CDL is a Plus
  • Proven ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Must have a great attitude and work ethic, Be on time every day

Physical Requirements

Must be able to:

  • Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Perform frequent kneeling, stooping, squatting, crawling, and climbing to perform multiple tasks of position
  • Have good manual dexterity
  • Have the ability to maintain a valid driver's license, which includes successfully completing Medical Exam, Driving Test, and all other license requirements
