Position Summary

We are in search of a dedicated Logistics Optimization Specialist to enhance our team. This role is essential for those who are meticulous and passionate about improving operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Gather, analyze, and interpret logistics data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.
    • Create and manage dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver actionable insights.
    • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to inform procurement and logistics strategies.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Assess and refine logistics processes to boost efficiency, lower costs, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
    • Work alongside cross-functional teams to adopt best practices and optimize workflows.
  • Inventory Oversight:
    • Track inventory levels to guarantee sufficient supply for ongoing and future projects while minimizing surplus.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and project managers to synchronize inventory with project timelines and requirements.
  • Supplier Management:
    • Build and sustain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and services.
    • Assist in negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous conditions.
    • Support the Request for Quotation (RFQ) process by preparing RFQs, engaging suppliers, and following up to gather necessary information.
  • Risk Assessment:
    • Identify potential logistics risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project continuity.
    • Monitor and address disruptions in the logistics chain, including delays, shortages, and quality concerns.
  • Project Assistance:
    • Provide analytical support for project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with logistics capabilities and constraints.
    • Assist in formulating project timelines and resource allocation strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, ideally in a project-driven environment.
    • Experience in data analysis and process enhancement.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for interpreting data and providing actionable recommendations.
    • Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software).
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools).
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
    • Detail-oriented with robust organizational and multitasking capabilities.
    • Technical proficiency, particularly in IT systems and software relevant to logistics operations.

Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid working arrangement: At least 3 days per week in the office, with the option for remote work on remaining days.
