Job Summary

USPI is seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at our Ambulatory Surgery Center in St. Louis County. As a key member of our orthopedic surgery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients for surgical procedures and prepare them for the operating room
  • Circulate cases and ensure the operating room is properly equipped and maintained
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in surgery, with a preference for orthopedic background
  • Current Missouri RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
