Nurse Manager

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Orthopedic Surgery team. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of patient care and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Orthopedic Surgery team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
- Staff Development: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning, providing opportunities for professional growth and development for team members.
- Quality Improvement: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes.
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Orthopedic Surgery unit, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective management of patient flow.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Orthopedic Surgery or related area required.
- Certifications: Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License and American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification in Specialty Area preferred.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
