Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the manufacturing workflow by guiding staff and overseeing production activities to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicates job responsibilities, company values, and production objectives to new employees during onboarding.
  • Ensures comprehensive training for new hires on established operational policies and procedures.
  • Provides coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Builds strong relationships with team members and offers both formal and informal performance feedback.
  • Addresses personnel issues by investigating concerns, identifying solutions, and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Monitors and resolves quality control issues related to production.
  • Analyzes manufacturing performance metrics and reports findings.
  • Maintains production flow by overseeing process steps, personnel, and equipment utilization.
  • Develops weekly production schedules and adjusts them as necessary.
  • Implements and revises operational systems and procedures based on analysis of practices, budgets, and staffing needs.
  • Ensures adherence to established systems and procedures through regular follow-ups.
  • Conducts root-cause analysis and implements corrective actions when team members do not comply with procedures.
  • Ensures a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
  • Continues to enhance professional and technical knowledge.
  • Monitors attendance and timekeeping records.
  • Assists in various areas as required and performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in management.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Visual.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated managerial and leadership capabilities.
  • Highly driven and motivated individual.
