Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing the manufacturing workflow by guiding staff and overseeing production activities to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicates job responsibilities, company values, and production objectives to new employees during onboarding.
- Ensures comprehensive training for new hires on established operational policies and procedures.
- Provides coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Builds strong relationships with team members and offers both formal and informal performance feedback.
- Addresses personnel issues by investigating concerns, identifying solutions, and recommending appropriate actions.
- Monitors and resolves quality control issues related to production.
- Analyzes manufacturing performance metrics and reports findings.
- Maintains production flow by overseeing process steps, personnel, and equipment utilization.
- Develops weekly production schedules and adjusts them as necessary.
- Implements and revises operational systems and procedures based on analysis of practices, budgets, and staffing needs.
- Ensures adherence to established systems and procedures through regular follow-ups.
- Conducts root-cause analysis and implements corrective actions when team members do not comply with procedures.
- Ensures a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
- Continues to enhance professional and technical knowledge.
- Monitors attendance and timekeeping records.
- Assists in various areas as required and performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in management.
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Visual.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated managerial and leadership capabilities.
- Highly driven and motivated individual.
