Responsibilities- Provide high-quality anesthetic care to pediatric patients undergoing cardiac surgery

- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
- Contribute to the education and training of residents and fellows
- BC/BE in Anesthesiology
- Pediatric cardiac anesthesia fellowship required
- 3 years or greater independent practice experience
- Must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an ACGME anesthesiology residency program
- Texas medical license, or eligible for unrestricted Texas licensure
- Employed position

Methodist Children's Heart Institute is a well-established and rapidly expanding program, which performs the full spectrum of procedures including neonatal cardiac surgery and surgery for low birth weight babies, complex valve repair, pulmonary autograft procedure, and adult congenital heart surgery.
Our 202-bed facility features seven operating suites, 94 NICU beds, and a 17-bed pediatric intensive care unit with plans for future expansion to a dedicated pediatric cardiac intensive care unit.
We are proud to be the largest congenital heart program in San Antonio for pediatrics and adults, with an extensive catchment area and rapidly growing referral base in South and West Texas.
