Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Limited Medical Radiology Technician, you will:
- Conduct timely and high-quality radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
- Perform quality control checks and audits on radiological equipment.
- Administer drug screenings, urinalysis, and other in-house laboratory tests, including specimen processing for external laboratories.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of in-house lab work, drug screenings, and x-rays sent to other facilities.
- Ensure adherence to occupational procedures and client preference cards.
- Assist with general patient care as necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree from an accredited Radiological Sciences program.
- A Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in the state of residency.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a patient care environment is preferred.
- The ability to obtain BLS Certification within 30 days of employment.
- Any required Office Laboratory Assistant License as mandated by state regulations.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service along with strong communication skills.
- Certification in Federal Breath Alcohol Screening and Federal Drug Screening within three months of employment.
