Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading structural engineering projects from concept to completion. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects across various sectors, including Water/Wastewater, Parks and Recreation, Municipal, Industrial, Commercial, Entertainment, and Forensics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead structural engineering projects, including design, consulting, and project management
  • Assign, guide, mentor, oversee, and review work as the Engineer of Record for staff and/or PM level designers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Washington PE registration, SE desired but not required
  • BS or MS in Structural or Civil engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Experience managing internal project teams and interacting with clients
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A desire and aptitude to learn and collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong technical skills, management organizational abilities, and work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Office Suite and Structural Engineering Software
  • Autocad and/or Revit experience desired
  • Public utility infrastructure experience desired
