We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist to join our Neurophysiology Department at The University of Chicago Medicine. As an EEG Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct EEG recordings and analyze data to identify abnormal patterns
- Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to eliminate artifacts and ensure accurate results
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electroencephalography and neurophysiology
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols
- Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program or equivalent experience
- 3.5+ years of experience working in a clinical EEG setting or equivalent experience
- Board certification from ABRET or AAET in R.EEG.T, R.EP.T, or R.NCS.T
- Basic PC and Microsoft Windows knowledge
