Join Our Veterinary Team

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of our hospital team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, clients, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing high-quality patient care
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure seamless patient care
  • Perform various tasks, including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, exam rooms, and lab
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting or related field
