Role Summary:

The Porter Pipe & Supply Internship Program is designed to provide a comprehensive 8-to-12-week experience within our Warehouse and Sales divisions. This program presents a valuable opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in the wholesale distribution sector while playing a crucial role in our operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Support: Assist the sales and customer service teams in managing inquiries, processing orders, and delivering outstanding support to our customers.
  • Inventory Oversight: Engage in inventory management tasks, including monitoring stock levels, fulfilling orders, and ensuring product availability.
  • Product Familiarization: Gain knowledge about our product range, including pipes, valves, and fittings, to effectively assist customers with their selections.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Participate in marketing activities, such as content creation, website updates, and promotional initiatives.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including data entry, document organization, and maintaining orderly records.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work alongside various departments to develop a holistic understanding of our business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
