Position: Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is accountable for overseeing personnel within the Warehouse division at a petrochemical facility. The ideal candidate should possess experience in a supervisory role (such as team leader, foreman, or supervisor). While industrial experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. We are proud to be a veteran-friendly organization, and prior military experience along with a proven track record of adhering to procedures is a plus.

Work Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shift

Compensation: $24.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all team members are equipped with the necessary knowledge, training, tools, and equipment to perform their tasks accurately, efficiently, and safely.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and training initiatives to exemplify appropriate conduct for our field personnel.
  • Conduct safety observations in the field to maintain high visibility with employees and clients.
  • Oversee On-the-Job training and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Perform incoming inspections of service equipment, parts, and materials.
  • Maintain comprehensive quality training records.
  • Identify and document instances of non-conformance.
  • Engage in incident investigations.
  • Regularly communicate with PSC Leadership and Technical Advisors regarding daily operations, non-routine activities, and safety concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with established procedures in the field.
  • Monitor the functionality of packaging machines and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including the removal of spills and debris.
  • Operate one or more of the six distinct packaging stations on the production line.
  • Ensure finished products are properly packaged and prepared for distribution.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned to fulfill operational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid TWIC card and driver's license.
  • Ability to adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain a safety-conscious mindset.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Demonstrated stable work history with positive references from previous employers.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening, physical examination, and background check.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Veteran-friendly company; prior military experience and a proven ability to follow procedures are advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to speak, write, read, hear, and possess good vision.

  • Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examinations related to PPE usage.

  • Ability to carry 20 pounds while walking.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Ability to extend arms through the normal range of motion while standing and squatting.
