Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service workers, ensuring accurate tray assembly and delivery.
  • Conduct visual inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure proper functioning and sanitation.
  • Report equipment malfunctions to the maintenance department and correct any improper situations in the work areas.
  • Participate in preparing weekly employee schedules and work assignments.
  • Conduct orientation and in-service training for new employees.
  • Assure temperature and appearance of food on tray line meets standards.
  • Direct and coach food service workers in the performance of their daily duties.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare or restaurant environment.
  • Certification as a Food or Dietary Manager preferred based on city or state requirements.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working days. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
