Job Overview

We are offering a comprehensive training program for individuals interested in becoming skilled Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System Technicians. This program is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the solar energy sector.

Program Highlights

Training Format: This is a HYBRID training course that combines online learning with in-person sessions. Participants will attend classes virtually for the majority of the program, with weekly in-person labs.

Duration: The training spans Sixteen (16) weeks, totaling 320 clock hours of instruction.

Class Schedule: Classes are held Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Curriculum Details

The training curriculum encompasses:

  • Leadership Development Training
  • OSHA-30 Certification
  • NCCER and NABCEP Credentialing
  • Job placement assistance upon successful completion

Participants will gain a thorough understanding of entry-level construction principles, as well as the fundamental concepts related to Solar Photovoltaic systems, including their design, sizing, and installation. This training prepares individuals to take the NABCEP Associates Exam.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between the ages of 18-50
  • Be a resident of Maryland
Health and Safety Protocols

In light of health considerations, all participants will be required to adhere to safety protocols, including answering screening questions, temperature checks, wearing masks, and sanitizing hands upon entering the training facility.
