Job Summary:
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our Radiology team at MSK Basking Ridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of CT and X-ray imaging procedures, operating CT scanners and associated equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures with minimal supervision, utilizing independent judgment and ingenuity.
- Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and practices.
- Explain procedures to patients, monitoring for patient safety and comfort, and administering contrast (IV and/or Oral).
- Conduct imaging in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.
- Enter complete and accurate documentation into all MSK/Radiology systems.
- Perform general radiology procedures.
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or Certified Vocational Training in Radiology or a related field.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT, preferably operating GE systems.
- NJS Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography, IV Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Desire for personal growth and readiness to tackle challenges.
Working Conditions:
- Flexed shifts between 8am – 6pm, Saturdays & Sundays, with weekday availability a plus.
- Possible holidays, as needed.
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay Range: $60.00-$65.00/hr.
