Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts imaging procedures in accordance with and confirming the orders from referring healthcare providers.
  • Utilizes established methodologies based on institutional policies and protocols.
  • Informs patients and their families about procedures, potential risks, and preventive measures.
  • Generates high-quality diagnostic images and ensures prompt interpretation.
  • Maintains precise documentation and records.
  • Exhibits proficiency in executing prescribed imaging procedures in line with established guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized Radiologic Technology program or certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
  • National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and applicable state licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Advanced certification in the specialty must be obtained within 18 months of employment (if applicable).
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
