Radiologic Technologist and Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist and Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Concentra. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine x-ray examinations and operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, provide verbal and written instructions, and assist patients in positioning body parts for radiography.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure their safety, comfort, and care during x-ray exams.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and team members.
  • Ensure radiologic equipment remains in working order and report equipment malfunctions to the Center Operations Director.
  • Follow radiology workflows and ensure accurate documentation of patient x-ray visits.
  • Maintain x-ray equipment, including calibration, QA/QC procedures, and record keeping.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology and applicable certification by the state in which employed.
  • Registered with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and has active and valid certification.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • At least six months or more of medical assistant experience with knowledge of medical procedures and medical terminology.
