Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team on our Night shift full time. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to plan and implement care, and demonstrating competency in nursing practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and implement care
  • Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as needed
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families
Requirements
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
  • Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications
