Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Centerpoint Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with chest pain, stroke, COPD, and other complex conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with acute changes in their condition
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
- Graduation from a school of nursing with either a Diploma, ADN or BSN
- 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a telemetry or critical care setting
- Current RN license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing or Multistate RN license from a participating compact state
