We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Centerpoint Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present images and patient information/history to the Radiologist for comprehensive diagnostic reports.
  • Assist and position patients with compassion and care.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
  • Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school or college with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
  • ARRT MR preferred upon hire or must become registry eligible for ARRT MR within 1 year of hire and must complete registry within 6 months following.
  • BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
  • 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
  • On Call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within one hour of call back.
