Electrical and Instrumentation Planner

Pulp and Paper Mill

Salary $70,000 - $100,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Promotional Opportunities

A major manufacturer in the Paper Industry is seeking an E/I Planner for one of their mills. As Planner, you will perform daily planning activities to support the electrical and instrument technician schedules and maintain a preventative maintenance program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for work preparation: scope, parts, skills, duration
  • Plan work orders based on priorities provided by management
  • Work closely with all departments for maximum efficiency
  • Manage kitting of planned parts
  • Ensure accurate data history for analysis and generating performance indicators
  • Support strategies of maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Ensure work orders are planned, documented, and printed; schedules issued based on crew resource availability for every workday
  • Validate completed work orders
  • Develop improved work methods and procedures to continuously shorten production downtime and increase overall productivity of the workforce

Requirements:

  • Associate degree plus 5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance electrical environment or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Special consideration for those with previous planning experience
