Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations
* Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, boxes, conduits, feeders, panels, commercial switchgear, transformers, disconnects, and other electrical components
* Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance
* Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters
* Communicate with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times
* Collaborate with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members
* Trench for electrical underground
* Test electrical systems using tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to determine where issues may be occurring, the safety of the system, and to ensure compatibility
* Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices
* Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices, blueprints, and maps
* Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures, and guidelines to immediate supervisor
* Use ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems in commercial properties
* Trench and install underground PVC and overhead EMT
Secondary Functions:

* Written Communication - Write clearly and informatively; conscious of audience and varies writing style accordingly, able to read and interpret written requirements

Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical technology or related field preferred
* Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicle
* Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme weather conditions
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and code specifications
* Ability to use electrical testing equipment and tools
