About the Job

This position involves working as a line cook in our busy resort kitchen, preparing and serving high-quality meals to our guests. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards, and assisting in inventory management and ordering supplies.

This is a mid-level skilled position with an estimated salary of $40,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties

  1. Preparation and Cooking

Prepare and cook meals in accordance with recipes and menu specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and flavor.

  1. Sanitation and Safety

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards, including proper handling and disposal of waste, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils, and monitoring temperature control.

  1. Inventory Management

Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper storage procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources.

  1. Teamwork and Communication

Work collaboratively with other chefs, cooks, and restaurant staff to ensure seamless service, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
