As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of a team that delivers fully integrated solutions for preventative maintenance and repair, upgrading existing mechanical, electrical, and controls systems to provide the most efficient economic solutions to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Familiarize yourself with various HVAC system types and their applications.
- Select, size, and design HVAC systems, including ductwork and piping.
- Stay up-to-date with Mechanical Codes and Energy Efficiency Standards.
- Contribute to energy efficiency projects, developing or supporting performance-based initiatives.
- Perform Heating, Cooling Load Calculations, and Title 24 Compliance calculations using Energy-Pro programs.
- Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Develop technical proposals and reports to communicate complex ideas.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in HVAC Design.
- Experience in the mechanical construction industry is a plus.
- EIT is highly preferred, and a PE is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHPD codes is a plus.
- Independent decision-making is required.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and knowledge of AutoCAD MEP or Revit is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
