Safety and Risk Coordinator Role

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing organizational safety programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment across construction and general industry settings.

This role focuses on building strong relationships with employees and managers to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including OSHA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with employees and managers to promote a culture of safety and wellness
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety or Business-related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Solomon Payroll systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
