We are seeking a skilled Journeymen Chiller Mechanic to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, and site assessments for our commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, and site assessments for commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective communication skills.
  • Provide quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Represent the company as the direct customer contact and be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations, using cutting-edge software and technology.
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued assets.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to customers, which may require flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
  • Participate in our on-call rotation, as we are a 24/7 service company.
Requirements
  • Valid Red Seal Refrigeration and A/C certification.
  • Valid ODS certification.
  • More than 5 years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers.
  • Adherence to company safety programs.
