About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Associate - Client Care Specialist to join our team at Urban Pooch Canine Life Center. As a key member of our pet care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service, managing the check-in and check-out process for our daycare and boarding services, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process for our daycare and boarding services
  • Maintain accurate records and update reservations as necessary using our PetExec software
  • Assist with various administrative tasks such as composing emails, handling inquiries, and communicating with clients
  • Process client transactions using our point-of-sale system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial dealings
  • Interact with dogs, facilitate their movement between daycare and training sessions, and prepare meals and medications as needed
  • Support retail inventory management, inputting quantities, pricing, and displaying items, and ensuring the storefront remains organized and inviting

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year(s) of customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization and maintain client relationships and customer satisfaction
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and OS operating programs
  • Good math skills
