Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical support personnel and manage the general maintenance and upkeep of our food processing plant and equipment. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilities Management: Supervise the maintenance and safe operation of the plant and supporting infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures for all processing systems and equipment, minimizing downtime and optimizing production.
  • Inspections and Repairs: Conduct daily inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure functionality, and plan and oversee repair and installation activities.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor critical plant components and maintain spare parts inventory, ensuring timely replacement and minimizing stockouts.
  • Contractor Management: Establish and manage strategic relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring high-quality services and cost-effectiveness.
  • Energy and Resource Management: Analyze trends in energy and resource consumption, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with certifications in General Maintenance fields preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient with PLC operation and common control systems, strong communication and computer skills, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift, with average hearing ability and regular use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
