Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator

DaVita Inc. is seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to enhance patient care in an outpatient dialysis environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 6 months of dialysis experience is essential.
  • Oversee and coordinate care for ESRD patients, including monitoring lab values and vital signs.
  • Ensure the clinical team maintains the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and well-being.
  • Training may occur in various facilities or clinics beyond your primary location.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple clinics during and after training is required.
  • Availability for morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts is necessary.

  • Provide care to patients with diverse co-morbidities, necessitating tailored treatment plans and a wide range of nursing skills.
  • Supervise a group of patients with the assistance of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) for patient monitoring and equipment setup.
  • Engage in a dynamic work environment, utilizing your intellect, compassion, and hands-on skills daily.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 18 months of nursing experience is required.
  • Approval for Dialysis Charge RN readiness by Clinical Nurse Manager or RN-licensed FA/GFA is necessary.
  • Certification as a Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Dialysis Nurse (CDN) is preferred.
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) settings is advantageous.
  • An Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited institution is required; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) is preferred.
  • Completion of training approved by the medical director and governing body as per CMS guidelines is required before operating the water treatment system.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred; a willingness and ability to supervise is essential.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook are required.
