We are seeking a highly skilled Multidisciplinary Nuclear Engineer to join our team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and deploying state-of-the-art simulators for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
Key Responsibilities- Support the initial design, testing, and deployment of simulators to the NNPP training commands in Charleston, SC and West Milton, NY.
- Collaborate with other engineers at NNL and external organizations, including Naval Reactors.
- Develop and implement high-fidelity simulators to ensure effective and efficient qualification of Naval Nuclear Operators.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science-related field from an accredited college or university, or a Master's degree in a technical field with relevant experience.
- A minimum of 7-9 years of relevant experience in a technical field, with a strong background in nuclear propulsion systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience conducting shipboard or simulator test programs.
- S9G mechanic experience or comparable experience.

The annual salary for this position is $103,161.00, with the potential for relocation and travel opportunities.
