Job Summary

The Postdoctoral Research Associate will work closely with faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students to carry out research on sensors, heating and thermoelectric elements integrated electronic textiles, as well as develop a textile framework for carrying power and data. The research will be conducted under the direction of the Principal Investigators (PIs). This position is contingent upon funding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on sensors, heating and thermoelectric elements integrated electronic textiles
  • Develop a textile framework for carrying power and data
  • Work closely with faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students
  • Conduct research under the direction of the Principal Investigators (PIs)
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Textile Engineering/Material Science/Chemical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Promote the University's commitment to public service
Working Conditions

This position is contingent upon funding. The initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of renewal based on productivity, successful performance and the availability of funding.
