Support Worker

Job Summary:

As a Direct Support Professional at Kalix, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently and participate fully in their communities. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
• Support individuals with employment and education goals, including job coaching and skill development.
• Encourage and facilitate social interactions and community engagement.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 19 years or older with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
