Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our production team. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) into complex modules, building cable and chassis assemblies, and implementing engineering changes (ECOs). You will work with automated Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment and have excellent soldering skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Soldering and Assembly
    • Solder THT and SMT components per IPC A 610 Class III Standards
    • Rework and touch up per IPC A 610 Class III Standards
  • Module Assembly
    • Assemble PCBs into complex modules
  • Cable and Chassis Assembly
    • Build cable and chassis assemblies
  • Prototyping and ECOs
    • Implement ECOs
    • Build prototypes for Engineering using schematics
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect incoming material: PCBs, panels, heatsinks, etc.
  • Final Assembly
    • Complete final assembly of products

Requirements

  • Minimum High School or GED or equivalent
  • Has received, or are willing to receive, the COVID-19 vaccine
  • Certified to J-STD-001 preferred
  • Excellent Soldering Skills
  • Attention to Detail
  • Strong Oral and Written Communication
  • Able to adapt to change
  • Manual Dexterity
  • Able to lift 20 lbs
