Job Summary

This role will be a key member of our team, leading the development of the Enterprise Data Strategy / Future State (Data & Analytics) architecture in support of our Business Strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data capability maturity assessment, data & analytics / AI strategy, data operating model & governance, data marketplace enablement, data on cloud strategy, and data architecture strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement large-scale data lake and DW on cloud solutions, leveraging technologies such as AWS, Azure, Data Bricks, Hadoop, and Cloudera.
  • Provide data governance & management expertise, including data quality, master data management (MDM), metadata, data lineage, data catalog, and data semantics, utilizing tools like IBM Infosphere, Collibra, Talend, Informatica, and Alation.
  • Apply critical thinking and big picture thinking to analyze complex problems and develop structured approaches to solving them.
  • Lead a team of architects to deliver solution architectures that drive capability improvements to a line of business, utilizing architecture trade-off analyses and communication skills to engage stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 12 years of technical experience, including developing solution architectures for large enterprises, application design and development, middleware and integration technology design, and knowledge management.
  • Experience with data, security, applications, or integration architecture and associated technologies, as well as business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to lead a team of architects and communicate complex technical options to decision-makers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture, data governance, and information management.
  • Experience overseeing the production and implementation of solutions covering multiple cloud technologies, associated infrastructure/application architecture, development, and operating models.
  • Deep understanding of Data and Analytics platforms, data integration with cloud, and industry best practices in data governance and management.
