Position Summary

The Housekeeper, under the supervision of the Environmental Services Director, is responsible for maintaining a pristine and hygienic environment within the facility, ensuring the health and comfort of our residents. This role requires respectful interaction with residents, family members, visitors, and staff, and is classified as safety-sensitive.

Key Responsibilities

While not every task is explicitly outlined, employees may be asked to perform additional duties as deemed necessary by management. The absence of a specific function does not prevent management from assigning related tasks.
  • Execute designated cleaning and housekeeping duties as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
  • Complete all scheduled assignments in both private and communal areas.
  • Assist with cleanup after special events and in dining facilities as required.
  • Monitor supply levels and inform the supervisor of any shortages.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is well-maintained and returned to its designated location post-use.
  • Support room transitions as necessary.
  • Document maintenance requests as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing training and participate in meetings.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is a critical aspect of this role.
